    The type girths I normally use on my SSH were girth galling my TWH, so I wanted to try a string girth and didn't have one. The Billy Royal is made super nice with thick cushy strings and doubled in the right area. I ride the TWH in a gaited saddle with more center fire rigging and the Billy Royal string girth did not leave any marks and my horse did not show any signs of discomfort at all.
