Built for cutting, ranch sorting and demanding performance work, the Syd Hill Sunbury Ranch Cutter Saddle combines traditional western craftsmanship with rider security, comfort and lasting durability.
Constructed on a solid wood tree covered in rawhide, the Sunbury features a wide 9" Full Quarter Horse Bar gullet designed to accommodate broader-backed horses. Its strong, balanced design provides the stability needed for powerful stops, tight turns and fast changes of direction.
Crafted from premium imported Havana leather, the roughout seat and fenders provide added grip to help keep the rider secure and balanced during quick, high-intensity manoeuvres. Hand-stamped basket weave tooling across the swell and skirt is complemented by six traditional leather tassels, giving the saddle a timeless western appearance suitable for both the arena and ranch.
Pre-twisted fenders help reduce pressure on the knees and ankles from the first ride, while lightweight aluminium oxbow stirrups support a secure and comfortable foot position. The upright 4" cutter horn provides a convenient handhold during sharp turns and sudden movements.
Finished with heavy-duty C-rigging and an included rear cinch, the Sunbury is designed to distribute pressure evenly and keep the saddle securely positioned throughout demanding work.
