Important Information When Ordering Saddles or Tack etc.
When ordering custom-made saddles or Saddles in General, please note that ETAs provided by suppliers are a guide only and may change without notice. Manufacturing times are currently longer than usual and are outside our control. Country Scene Saddlery does not control production or shipping timeframes, but we β Jess and I β will always do our best to assist and keep you informed.
Custom saddles are made to order, and delays can occur depending on the brand or supplier.
While we are happy to guide you, we are not saddle fitters, and final saddle selection is the customerβs responsibility. We strongly recommend having a professional saddle fitter complete a back trace before ordering. Photos and measurements can be sent to us so we can liaise with our suppliers to help find the best possible option.
We provide detailed measurements and supplier information for all saddles and offer multiple brands and custom options.

Warranty Policy β Saddles & Warrantable Items
Different Brands offer different warranty times.Β
Saddles and related items may be covered by a manufacturerβs warranty; however, warranty coverage varies by brand and product.
Some saddles include a limited manufacturerβs warranty (for example, coverage on the saddle tree for certain English and Western saddles under normal use), while others may not include any warranty.
All warranties, where applicable, are provided solely by the manufacturer and are subject to their individual terms, conditions, and limitations. Customers are advised to refer to the warranty documentation or tags supplied with the product for specific details.
Warranty coverage generally does not apply to damage resulting from:
- Commercial or excessive use
- Misuse, accidents, or neglect
- Modifications or alterations
- Improper care, maintenance, or storage
We do not provide additional warranties beyond those offered by the manufacturer. For warranty claims, customers may be required to contact the manufacturer directly or provide proof of purchase.

Syd Hill & Sons Warranty Policy
SHS saddles are covered by a 5-year warranty on the saddle tree from the date of purchase, when used under normal conditions and for the purpose intended. Please store your saddle properly and with care.
This warranty covers faults in materials and workmanship for 1-year from date of purchase and doesn't apply if damage is caused by unreasonable use, accident, neglect, normal wear and tear, or if you change your mind.
Leather is made from animal hide and is a natural material, therefore some imperfections may be seen in the leather and should be appreciated as character of your saddle and not as a fault.
All other products are covered by a 1-year warranty for workmanship faults only.
In order to make a warranty claim, the purchase of a Syd Hill & Sons product must be made by or at one of our authorized re-sellers, and proof of purchase must be provided.
The Syd Hill & Sons warranty sits alongside applicable consumer protection law.
Southern Cross has a 30 day Guarantee.
