The Reno browband headstall's simple but beautiful shape compliments the your horse's head. The alternating silver and brass spots accent the spider hand tooling. The Reno is made with a premium heavy oil leather that you have to feel to believe. It has a wonderful broken-in durable feel from the very first ride. No one likes fighting buckles while your tack gets broke in, but with the heavy oil and smooth stainless heel buckles of the Reno, tacking up is a breeze. Now you can spend more time riding and less time getting ready to ride.
Helpful Tips: Your working length is measured using a soft measuring tape from the corner of the horse's mouth, over the ears, and back to the mouth. Your throat latch should be tight enough so you won't get small limbs and branches caught, but loose enough to fit two fingers comfortably between the strap and the horses' neck. Your headstall has been well oiled, so you won't need to oil it for the first 6 months unless you live in a paticularly dry hot climate. The cheeks of this headstall measure 10" from turn to buckle. This length works best with o-rings, dee rings, and other bits with a purchase length of 2.5" or less.
