Each Martin Saddle is made by the hands of talented and passionate craftsman making each saddle step by step and of the highest quality raw materials. Unlike anywhere else in the industry, our employee’s work and passion are one in the same.

We manufacture our exclusive Axis® saddle trees in-house to ensure quality focus, precision, and undivided attention to the fine details in each one produced. Our trees are made of South Dakota white pine wood and cut with precise angles of alignment for symmetry and measurable balance. Our end goal is providing full, even contact with the horses back throughout the entire length of the bar. The bars are carefully spaced to allow adequate spine relief with a one-of-a-kind flare that forgives as it corresponds to the contours of the horses back. Our flared design helps relieve uneven pressure points and accommodates the movement of the horse’s shoulder and loin. Comfort and performance for both the horse and rider is our number one priority.
